Występują dwie formy barwne. Forma fasciaria - tło skrzydeł rdzawoczerwone, forma prasinaria - tło skrzydeł zielone. Spotykane są również formy pośrednie Na przednim skrzydle występują dwie na tylnym jedna, cienka, jasna przepaska. Barwa przepasek od białej do szarozielonkawej. Pole środkowe w sąsiedztwie przepasek zwykle nieco przyciemnione. Strzępina barwy tła skrzydła.
