ImagoMotyle latają szybko ale na krótkie odległości. W przerwach między kolejnymi zrywami odpoczywają na liściach. Żywią się nektarem różnych kwiatów łąkowych, roślin zielnych i krzewów.
PupaGąsienice przepoczwarzają się na ziemi pod swoimi roślinami pokarmowymi.
LarvaGąsienice spotyka się najczęściej na skrajach lasów, prześwitach i polanach leśnych.
