Pole środkowe i nasadowe ciemnobrunatne, pas między nimi i pole opaski zielone, mosiężne lub złociste. Plamki niezbyt wyraźne, jasno obwiedzione. Skrzydła tylne brunatne lub brunatnoszare.	Wingspan: 28 - 35 mm

Additional information
	Motyle chętnie przylatują do światła i kwiatów. Czasami można je zobaczyć w dzień siedzące na roślinach zielnych.
	Przepoczwarczenie następuje w luźnych, brązowych kokonach przyczepionych do roślin.
	Zimują w ściółce na wpół rozwinięte gąsienice.
	Samice składają żeberkowane jaja na spodzie roślin żywicielkich gąsienic.
